Regarding income inequality and our housing shortage, this is a huge issue and one that will require a variety of different options. I will be working to help Hawaii diversify away from tourism as it’s primarily source of income as well as working on options to create more jobs in rural areas through technology and small-scale, green agriculture this benefits all in lower income positions as they are then able to work from home/have less of a commute, and be able to live in a more affordable area with higher quality of life and more opportunities.
